Did you know you can tag people in your stories too? This is great to recognize someone in your selfie or give a shout out to a brand! Just start a new text box and type “@”. Continue typing the account you wish to tag and circles with profile pictures of possible matches will start showing up on the screen. Select the appropriate profile. Once your story is posted, the person you tagged will receive a notification in their inbox. This makes a functional link to drive people to the account you tagged!

Stickers, hash tags, and location give you many more options to dress your story up! Along the bottom of your screen you will notice buttons for Text, Live, Boomerang and so on. These are great features as well. Drop me a comment below if you would like to learn more about the features of Instagram Stories or have another topic you would like to see a “how to” on!
